Washu Trading LLC (the “Operator”) handles user information for its service concerning Japanese export and import statistics as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The Operator collects the following information:

• Email address needed to issue API keys and contact users;
• Purpose of use of the Service, if voluntarily provided by the user;
• API usage records, including the date and time, request details, and results;
• Records of use without an API key, including the date and time, request details, results, the name of the connecting application, the User-Agent, and the response time. We do not record the IP address of requests made without an API key (a hashed value is used temporarily to limit repeated requests with an invalid API key and is deleted within two days); and
• A hashed value of the IP address from which the registration form was submitted.

2. How We Use Information

The Operator uses collected information to issue API keys, verify users and authenticate requests, enforce usage limits, prevent misuse, compile statistics to improve the Service, and send important notices about the Service.

3. Sharing with Third Parties

The Operator does not provide collected information to third parties, except where required by law.

4. Retention and Use Limits

API usage records are retained for 13 months from the date of each record. Records of use without an API key are also retained for 13 months from the date of each record. Information used to link requests to the connecting application (MCP session IDs) is deleted within 7 days. A suspended API key and its associated email address are deleted 6 months after the key is suspended. Registrations whose confirmation link was never used are deleted after 30 days. The hashed value of the IP address submitted through the registration form is used only to enforce hourly request limits and is deleted within one day.

5. Service Providers

The Operator may entrust a server provider with handling information to the extent necessary to operate the Service. The Operator will select the provider appropriately and supervise it as necessary.

6. Requests for Access, Correction, or Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information held by the Operator. Requests are accepted at data@washutrading.com. The Operator may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

7. Changes to This Policy

The Operator may revise this Policy. Revisions will take effect when published on the Service or at another time specified by the Operator.
